The Ultimate Proof of Creation - Brian Catalucci, Creation Seminar 4 of 5

)

http://answersingenesis.org | This is an argument for creation that is powerful, conclusive, and has no true rebuttal. As such, it is an irrefutable argument-an "ultimate proof" of the Christian worldview biblical creation.

#CreationDebate: Eric Hovind (#Christian) vs Bernie Dehler (#atheist) #Evidence & #Morality

On Thur. Nov. 15, 2011, Eric Hovind, President of Creation Today, (Christian, Young Earth Creationist) & Bernie Dehler (atheist, former evangelical Christian) held a debate at Portland State University, sponsored by one of the university's Christian groups. There were two main topics: evidence and morality.

The session on "evidence" dealt with questions about the "unknowns" in science, especially regarding origins. How did the universe begin to exist? How did biological life arise from non-life. If scientists can't answer these questions, does it logically follow that God did these things by miracle?

Regarding morality, Hovind presented the idea that morality seems to exist in the world as moral law, and asked "who created these laws, if not God? How could mindless nature create moral laws?" Dehler's take was that morality can largely be reasoned-out using the rubric of consequentialism, reciprocity, and consideration of individual freedom. Hovind wiped the floor with this guy.

Dehler had a hand-out for the audience, showing his main points and also giving links for further suggested research. Click here to see his handout.

Reality Debate | Atheist David Silverman vs Christian Frank Turek

Examine Reality from Broadmoor Baptist on Vimeo.

The video above is the Reality Debate which took place on April 18th, 2013 between Frank Turek and David Silverman.

Frank Turek makes some really great points in favor of theism that the atheist cannot handle. He is a great speaker and brilliant in some areas. However, in my opinion he gets killed when Silverman talks about Genesis, the supposed old earth and evolution. This happens because Turek does not take the early chapters of Genesis literally or as history and clearly doesn't know the evidence for the young earth. It astounds me how many Christians reject evolution based on science and reject the lies of atheists in favor of it, but wholeheartedly embrace billions of years as if they were not based on methods and assumptions that are severely in error and ignore the scientific evidence for the young earth as the Bible describes.

Additionally, if Turek did convince anyone with his arguments, he only led them to a theistic false religion or an unknown God and they are still lost. He certainly did not defend the Bible.

Meanwhile, the gay atheist incessantly tells obvious lies, especially in his first rebuttal.

David Silverman

 David Silverman (born August 13, 1966) is the current president of theAmerican Atheists, a non-profit organization that supports the rights of atheists and the removal of expressions of religion in public when possibly interpretable as governmental endorsement.

David Silverman-Apr 4 2011.JPG Dave Silverman is an activist from Marblehead, Massachusetts. Silverman began publicly challenging religion in high school and often states in interviews that he became an atheist at the age of six.[1] Although he was never in the closet about his disbelief, he was forced to do his Bar mitzvah. He calls this the turning point in his life where he decided never to lie about his atheism again because he had gotten up on stage and told all the people he knew that he believed in God.[2][3]Seventeen years later his father admitted to him that he also was an atheist. [3]He received a bachelors degree in Computer Science from Brandeis Universityand a Marketing MBA from Penn State University. Silverman is an inventor with seventy four patents, and has authored several articles, including a cover story for Inventors digest. Dave Silverman has been married for nearly two decades to publisher Hildy Silverman who is an active worshiper in Judaism. The couple has one teenage daughter.[1][4]

Silverman has worked with the American Atheists organization since 1996, and has held a variety of roles, including: New Jersey State Director, Communications Director, and Vice President. He was elected president of American Atheists on September 16, 2010, following Ed Buckner. Silverman also cohosts the Atheist Viewpoint television program, writes for the NoGodBlog, attends protests, debates and conferences for atheism and freethought, across the country.[4][5]
